Curandero

Benno is a healer and educator devoted to reconnecting people with nature and traditional healing wisdom. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, he developed a deep relationship with the natural world from an early age and later trained in Craniosacral Therapy and holistic healing practices.

At the age of 21, he encountered a Peruvian healer, an experience that opened the door to his true vocation. He went on to spend years in the Peruvian Amazon, living and working in healing centers while immersing himself in the Shipibo tradition. During this time, he undertook numerous plant dietas and deepened his connection with nature through direct experience.

Having lived alongside the Shipibo people and been initiated into the Dieta tradition, he shares his teachings from lived experience. Benno is passionate about honoring indigenous wisdom, fostering a respectful relationship with plant knowledge, and helping others restore balance, connection, and harmony with the natural world.
